Dave Carnahan - Audio Engineer

Dave began working in the music industry as a live sound engineer in the 90's. After a few years on the live circuit he started to get work as s recording engineer in Colorado. In 1995 he started his own studio in Boulder. He arrived in New Plymouth in 2003 and set up King Street Creative with a business partner. The studio is fully equipped to meet all recording and mixing needs. Dave also specializes in recording location sound and sound design/post production for TV and video.

Phonam Gatela-Garcia - Motion Graphics Designer and VFX Compositor

Phonam has vast experience in the field of motion graphics, design, film and editing. I have worked for several post-production houses in the Philippines before migrating to New Zealand in 2007. In New Zealand, I  started out with Momentum Studios in New Plymouth that eventually moved to Wellington. After 4 years with the company, life took over and then decided to freelance. I currently am  a work-from-home-mom. Working remotely with clients locally and off shore.

Jolene Stockman - Scriptwriter

Scriptwriter Jolene Stockman has a passion for words that pop! Creating everything from promotional scripts and lifestyle articles to educational materials and training resources, Jolene is an award-winning freelance writer that gets results. With a Bachelor of Broadcasting and clients all over the world, Jolene is a qualified and experienced scriptwriter, technical writer, instructional designer and author. When available, Jolene is excited to jump into projects for LavaMedia.

Thomas Smith - Editor/Filmmaker

Tom is a young upcoming editor and filmmaker in New Plymouth that has loads of creative ability and passion for film. He is an invaluable part of the team on projects and has a positive can do attitude.
